Following the unrest in the country, Dreamers Bangladesh mobilized volunteers to ensure traffic flow, restore damaged sculptures and defaced walls, and protect religious minority places of worship during nights of insecurity.
Project Reform Bangladesh began with the backdrop of the unrest that took over the country once the previous prime minister had fled. Dreamers Bangladesh mobilised with the aim of helping to reforge a battered nation. Hundreds of volunteers answered the call. We first took to the streets to ensure the free flow of traffic now that the police had abandoned their posts. In a huge number of districts our volunteers helped to regain order. Our volunteers then worked to undo the damage wrought by the protests and took to restoring sculptures and defaced walls. All over the country we continued our efforts. And once word reached us that the religious minorities were suffering from attacks and insecurity, we mobilised our significant manpower to guard their places of worship throughout the nights. This along with cleaning up the damage done to various highways and establishments were how Dreamers Bangladesh had responded. We continued our efforts until normal government personnel could take over once more.
